Donna enjoys sharing her love of Pilates with others and helping each individual client accomplish their fitness goals. She has been teaching Pilates group equipment classes and one-on-one sessions for over 5 years. Donna believes that a Pilates practice is beneficial to all fitness regimes to help strengthen the core and develop a keen awareness of body alignment.
Donna began taking Pilates mat and equipment classes as a Dance Major at Appalachian State University. As a dancer, she knew that the core is the basis for a strong body and the importance of proper body alignment. She also appreciated the mind and body connection of the method. In 2013, Donna completed the Comprehensive Classical Pilates Teacher Training (650 hours) under Second Generation Classical Pilates Master Trainers: Marianne Adams and Rebecca Quin. Donna also enjoys doing Yoga, teaching dance, and spending time with her two children and husband.
